Wow!  I don't know what's happened recently, but all of a sudden we've had a ton of inquiries about Healthy Girls classes here locally in Virginia and the DBA Network where women can buy the curriculum and business and marketing information and start their own Healthy Girl's classes for themselves.  My partners and I worked so hard pulling all of our experience together and writing the licensing package so women could start their own businesses and feel very supported while really helping to improve the self-esteem of young girls, but we needed a break.  We all had to walk away from Healthy Girls for a little while.  We lived, breathed and ate Healthy Girls for a long time preparing the work-at-home - work for yourself program.  It's so exciting to see people getting excited about it.  It's getting me excited all over again.  I've always known that we had something really special - something really needed in our society.  It's just very heartening to see that other women get that too. 

Sorry I've been away so long.  I'll pick up the blogging and try to keep everybody updated on any new happenings at Healthy Girls.  I like to write about self-esteem for girls, nutrition, bullying, fitness/exercise and generally anything that might affect girls and their mothers or caretakers.  Love to hear your ideas too.  And heck, you can be a guest-blogger is you'd like.  Just drop me a line at Kathy@HealthyGirls.net.  Can wait to hear from you.  Keep the good news coming!!
