Healthy Girls teaches kids health and fitness

The topic of kid's health and fitness is certainly a well publicized topic these days. Unfortunately, it is so widely discussed these days due to the horrible state of our children's health in the United States.

Our children (and adults) are more sedentary than ever and gobbling up unhealthy food faster than we can say obesity epidemic. What is a parent to do? We need to begin now educating our children to makes positive healthy choices. Healthy Girls is a program with just that mission in mind. Our focus on kid's health and fitness comes from the desire to do better for our own children and from our professional backgrounds.

We created a program to meet the changing demands of our teen and preteen girls. Our fitness plan for teen and pre-teen girls offers a variety of exercises including stability ball routines and yoga routines. We deliver exercise that is fun and positive. Our exercise programs build the self confidence of all participants with exercise that is challenging and noncompetitive. Kid's health and fitness is the focus of our Healthy Girls classes, seminars and DVD Kit.

Our classes were the reason we decided to create an exercise video for girls. We heard repeatedly from some of the girls taking our classes "Wow, this exercise is fun!" We learned form the girls that we need to offer variety - they are not ready to spend an hour at a step class! Our kid fitness program focuses on the kid in all our girls. We provide many different exercise forms in one class to keep the girls happy and motivated! So, we decided to create a child exercise video with the teen and pre-teen girl in mind.

The goal of our DVD kit is to provide a total package for child fitness and nutrition. We teach a total fitness plan for teen and preteen girls. Our child exercise video is unique because we offer the total package including a fitness DVD for kids, a fun book written directly to girls talking about making good choices, an exercise poster and an anti-burst 55 cm exercise ball (retails for $19.99 by itself).

Our book and DVD work together to provide a total kid fitness program. The book emphasizes the importance of taking good care of your self and making healthy choices. We want the girls to learn that lifelong fitness will ultimately make them happier. Our book features great information for addressing kid's health and fitness by talking directly to the girls about making the choices that are best for them! Chapter VII
Nutrition "The Eats"

What is considered healthy to eat?
It can be confusing - In this chapter we will try to make it simple.

Making right choices:
It is up to you, and only you, to decide what foods you choose to eat. You can make a difference in your life today and for the future. TODAY you will feel good, do better in school and have more energy.

For the future, you will maintain a weight that is right for you, have stronger bones, prevent many, many diseases and ultimately have a happier life.

So YOU make the choice! Decide now to improve your eating habits and have a life that is better tomorrow. Now, with all that said, does it seem worth it to keep eating junk food? Why do you think they call it "Junk Food"?

I don't want junk in my house and I certainly don't want it in my body everyday!!!!!
